Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required


Experience: Will train


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Office of health care professional


Physiotherapy Assistant Specific Skills: Accompany patients to treatment rooms, Assist patients in the use of therapeutic equipment as directed/supervised by physiotherapist, Clean physiotherapy equipment


Additional Skills: Maintain records and inventories of supplies, Clean and maintain equipment, Schedule appointments, Perform general clerical duties


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling


Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
